We are actively hiring a Network Security Engineer SME to join our Mission & Technology Solutions Division working in Reston, VA. The Mission Technology and Solutions Division is looking for a Network Security Engineer to join our Subject Matter Expert team in develop cutting-edge mobile technologies. RESPONSIBILITIES The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for contributing to the development of network security and transport protocols and the configuration management of server operating systems to support a dynamic mission. Tasks will include: configuration and operation of Virtual Machines and VPNs as well as serial communications for RF Modems. As a member of a dynamic team, candidates will work in a multi-tasking, quick-paced environment that encourages proactive and innovative exploration of concepts, technologies, and strategies that meet customer needs. REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE • Must possess an Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with polygraph • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline • At least 8 years of related experience PREFERRED SKILLS • Experience with network security and transport protocols • Experience working with configuration management of server operating systems • Experience with configuration and operation of virtual machines and VPNs • Experience working with serial communications for RF modems • Experience operating within an Agile Methodology • Strong problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills COVID-19 Proof of Vaccination Requirements To protect the health and safety of its employees and to comply with customer requirements, ATS may require employees in certain positions to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or test on a weekly basis.
