As an Academic Tutor II, you will play a vital role in supporting students' academic success by providing one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions, sharing learning strategies, and performing clerical duties. Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and small group tutoring sessions to students in various subjects, including accounting, computer concepts, economics, English, math, science, and modern foreign languages
Assess, assist, and encourage students during tutoring sessions to help them better understand course concepts and become independent learners
Develop and facilitate group study sessions, workshops, and exam reviews to support student success
Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress
Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student learning and academic success
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
Advanced levels and proficiency in the subject areas to be tutored
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends (up to 27.5 hours per week)
Ability to work with students from diverse educational, cultural, religious, and social backgrounds
