Academic internship – Local Program Barcelona

At IAV we work in many top-class projects within the automotive industry. This requires us to provide creative solutions to our customers, in a very dynamic working environment. To achieve this goal, we are looking for students to join this journey as we are expanding our office located in Martorell, Barcelona. Whether you are interested in doing your Masters internship or your final project, you will be expected to participate in development processes that require an understanding of the comprehensive nature of series production and its development, supported by digital methods and the best experts in the area, locally and from Germany.

Your Tasks:

We are engaged with a diverse array of innovative projects, and you will have the unique opportunity to contribute in multiple areas such as:
• OBD calibration
• ADAS Functions
• Functional Safety
• Testing of connected functions
• Software Development
• Model test and calibration

Necessary Skills:
• Good... understanding of communication protocols such as Ethernet, CAN, LIN and others.
• Basic insight of the most common development processes like V-Model or ASPICE.
• Programming skills with languages like Python, C++, or HTML.
• Understanding of version control systems like GitHub or SVN.
• Basic knowledge of model-based software, using tools like MatLab, Simulink.
• Commitment, willingness to learn and team spirit.
• Interest in the automotive industry, regulations and standards

Desired Skills:
• Familiarity working with embedded systems and RTOS platforms like AUTOSAR, OSEK.
• Basic experience with unit tests, integrations tests, UI tests, or system tests.
• Good understanding of signal conditioning and processing.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab.
• User knowledge of ticket and information systems such as Jira and Confluence.
• German and Spanish are an advantage; main language in the office is English.
• Driving license class B
