ABA Child Interventionist / Behavior Technician / RBT - Part Time
About the position
Butterfly Effects is seeking passionate ABA Behavior Technicians to teach young children affected by autism. The company offers support for obtaining Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credentials. This is a part-time opportunity to make a significant impact in a child's life, bringing calm, protection, and happiness to families. The role involves working directly with children and families in their natural environments (homes, schools, centers) to teach essential skills through play-based activities. The ideal candidate is outgoing, energetic, and friendly.
Responsibilities
• Work directly with the child and the family in their natural environment (home, school, or center).
• Teach communication, sharing, play, waiting, and other essential skills.
• Make sessions fun by teaching through play-based activities.
• Bring calm, protection, and happiness to families and children affected by autism.
Requirements
• Minimum of High School diploma.
• A love and Passion for working with children.
• Interest in learning.
• Valid driver's license & personal vehicle.
• Web Enabled Device (laptop or tablet).
• At least 3 weekdays with the same availability.
• Positive attitude and strong people skills to work with children and families.
Nice-to-haves
• RBT certification.
• College coursework.
