A+ Virtual Learning Education Sales & Solutions Consultant for NYC

Remote Full-time
The Education Solutions Consultant acquires and services new clients within an assigned territory. This position requires work with school administrators to assess their needs and find ways to partner with them on digital and technology-based solutions that will help them better serve their students. The ideal candidate would have a deep understanding of the NYC school system, communicate well with school leaders and work to develop expertise in the broad portfolio of products and services offered by A+ Virtual Learning and then be prepared to design and execute a marketing and sales strategy to bring those products and services to NYC.

The ideal candidate will also align with and fit into the fold of the company and our mission. The A+ Virtual Learning team totals over 100 years of teaching experience and is headed by a Director of Education who has been a teacher, a school administrator, and is licensed and certified to teach and lead, by the State of New York.

A+ Virtual Learning are a team of licensed professional educators and educational technologist that work to deliver instruction to students, schools and communities. Through our virtual classroom we implement and deliver robust and engaging remote learning experiences. We do not believe learning is one size fits all, learning is a process that is unique to an individual, a school, and a community. We have brought this philosophy to the remote learning environment.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Create and manage both at home remote work hours and school visitation schedule with an expectation of being in NYC schools up to 80% of the time
• Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders at district and school levels.
• Work closely with colleagues on cross-territory opportunities and other internal teams on marketing materials and case studies.
• Understand the competitive landscape and education market trends specific to NYC.
• Understand and effectively communicate the company's philosophy, technology, and processes.
• Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
• Maintain sales volume and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition and supply and demand.
• Responsible for traveling to trade shows both locally and nationally; Responsible for traveling to schools and school districts as required.
• Responsible for meeting sales targets and goals.

Qualifications
• BA/BS degree or equivalent
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
• Demonstrable experience developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
• Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executives, specifically in the field of education.
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
• Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
• Proven ability to position products against competitors.
• Solutions-based mindset, self-motivator, and go-getter who understands and thrives in the competitive NYC educational sales market.
