Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver effective lessons that engage students and promote academic achievement
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
Maintain a safe, attractive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning and inquiry
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure student success
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in education
Requirements:
Texas State Teacher's Certification as Elementary Generalist or Elementary Self-Contained Teacher
Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
Passing score on an ExCET/TExES Exam in grade level or content area
Experience with classical education or traditional teaching methods (preferred)
