40 Hr. Remote Evening Contract- Customer Service Representative Health Insurance Billing Resolution

PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BEFORE APPLYING :: THIS IS NOT A PART-TIME POSITION and you must have your own working computer and phone. Requirements: Day to day responsibilities consist of reviewing EOBs (explanation of benefits), resolving patient medical billing inquiries, collecting payments, and assisting with patient inquiries regarding their medically billed charges. This is a heavy call volume and will require a remote, quiet working environment and friendly attitude. Experience in medical EOBs and health insurance is a must. Work hours will be during the evening if you live in the contiguous United States during Hawaii Standard Time. Requirements: • Work full time, 40 hours weekly. This is not a part-time position. • Must have a Windows-based personal computer (NO Chromebooks) capable of running multiple systems and software programs, high speed internet (speed test is required), and use of personal phone. No equipment is provided for this contract position. • Must have a minimum of 1 year experience • Attention to detail and accuracy is vital to being successful in this position • Excellent, professional verbal, written, and social communication is a must • Previous experience working with an electronic medical system required • Attendance and participation in online team meetings are required as well as company Q&A forums • Employees must meet daily quality and productivity quotas. These will be checked weekly as well as your contribution and overall impact on the project. • Maintaining accurate time tracking and reporting • Must know how to read an EOB and follow up on denials & appeals • Must be available Monday through Friday during Hawaii standard time. • Excellent computer skills • Friendliness is a must! • Ability to navigate personal and remote desktop simultaneous • Attention to detail and accuracy is vital to being successful in this position • Multiple positions with several clients starting pay of $18.50 per hour • Must be able to complete mandatory on-boarding training. Training will be completed online via training videos and live meetings. • High Speed Internet Required, Internet Speed Check required after initial interview. A full 40 work week must be completed. Position starts IMMEDIATELY. This is a contract position paid on a 1099. Work term is based on client contract term.
