We're seeking a skilled and motivated 3rd Shift Forklift Operator to join our team in Kansas City, Kansas. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of goods and materials within our facility.
Job Summary:
Operate powered trucks and material management systems to move goods and materials throughout the plant
Contribute to a continuous improvement environment by participating in LEAN manufacturing activities and solving problems
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols
Scan inventory movement and interpret data output to ensure system integrity
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs. for long periods of time
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive motions
Ability to stand for 8-12 hours a day on hard floors
Requirements:
Minimum 180 days (6 months) of forklift experience
Ability to work currently available shifts, overtime, and weekends as required
Basic math skills and ability to analyze data from multiple sources
