3D Technical Animator for Video Production
We are Hyperion Solutions, a provider of heavy-duty elevator components. We are looking for a skilled 3D Animator to create a high-impact, technical product video for a HoloFan (3D Holographic LED Display).
The subject is our Torin Belted Machine. We will provide the CAD files (STEP/IGS). Your task is to convert this data into a clean, photorealistic 3D animation that showcases the machine's engineering and internal components.
Scope of Work
The video needs to be optimized for a 3D floating effect. We are envisioning a 15–30 second loop consisting of:
360-Degree Rotation: A smooth, steady orbit of the fully assembled machine.
Technical Deconstruction: An "exploded view" or "ghosted" animation that pulls back the housing to show the inner workings, specifically focusing on the belt interface, sheaves, and motor alignment.
Reassembly: A crisp snap-back into the final product form.
Technical Requirements
Source Material: Work directly from provided CAD files.
HoloFan Optimization: Transparency effect.
High contrast and vibrant lighting to ensure the "floating" illusion.
Centered composition to avoid "clipping" at the edges of the fan blades.
Output: High-definition MP4 or MOV (H.264), square aspect ratio (1:1), typically 1024x1024 (final specs to be confirmed based on hardware).
What We Are Looking For
Mechanical Fluency: You understand how machines move. We don’t want "floating parts" that look like magic; we want a deconstruction that feels grounded in engineering.
Experience with HoloFans: Previous experience creating content specifically for holographic displays (DSEE, Missyou, etc.) is a significant plus.
Attention to Detail: Ability to render realistic textures (cast iron, rubber belts, machined steel) without excessive "marketing fluff."
