Position: 3D Graphic Designer (Web)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50ā$100/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
ā¢ Design and develop high-quality 3D models, scenes, and animations for web use.
ā¢ Create optimized 3D assets for real-time web rendering using WebGL, Three.js, or similar.
ā¢ Collaborate with developers to integrate 3D elements into responsive websites.
ā¢ Ensure performance optimization through polygon count, texture compression, and load speed.
ā¢ Produce product visualizations, interactive hero sections, and immersive UI components.
ā¢ Maintain visual consistency aligned with brand guidelines and iterate rapidly based on stakeholder feedback.
Qualifications
Must-Have
ā¢ 3+ years of experience in 3D graphic design or digital 3D visualization.
ā¢ Strong portfolio showcasing 3D work used in web or interactive environments.
ā¢ Proficiency in tools such as Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, or similar.
ā¢ Experience preparing assets for web with GLTF/GLB workflows preferred.
ā¢ Understanding of lighting, composition, materials, and rendering.
ā¢ Familiarity with WebGL, Three.js, or interactive web frameworks is a strong plus.
ā¢ Ability to balance high-quality visuals with performance constraints.
Preferred
ā¢ Experience with motion graphics or animation for web.
ā¢ Knowledge of frontend collaboration workflows like Figma, React, Webflow, etc.
ā¢ Experience working in product-focused or startup environments.
ā¢ Understanding of UX/UI principles.
