POSITION - 3D ARTIST FREELANCE The 3d Artist works as a member of Studio2a’s 3d teams to create high-end 3d imagery for clients. You have a strong interest in design or architecture and a willingness to learn and develop skills in a team environment. The 3d Artist is able to translate drawings, sketches, photos, into detailed photorealistic textured 3d models. You should have artistic sensibility as well as strong technical skills. This is a freelance position and is not location specific. ROLE SUMMARY • Create, build, design 3d scenes and prep models for final render in 3ds Max + Vray. • Follow procedures and tasks to meet deadlines. • Develop and refine personal abilities and knowledge of new 3d technology. • Work collaboratively as part of an English speaking team. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE • Minimum of 3 years of 3ds Max + Vray experience. • Advanced level polygon modeling and texturing. • Understanding of animation, rigging, and particle systems. • Comfortable with reading CAD files, spec sheets, and building 3d models from photos. • Ability to work efficiently and effectively remotely via internet based communications. • Design or architectural background is preferred, but not required. • No solicitations from outsource companies will be considered.
