3D Animator Needed for Technical Data Center / Energy Infrastructure Explainer Video

The animation will visualize data center infrastructure and power systems, showing how a technology platform works within modern AI data center environments. The goal is to clearly communicate complex engineering concepts through cinematic 3D animation and motion graphics.
This project requires experience producing technical or industrial animations for technology, engineering, or infrastructure companies.
Scope of work
- Interpret concept or storyboard and translate it into visual sequences
- Create 3D models and environments (data center, power infrastructure, components)
- Animate system processes and energy flow
- Integrate motion graphics, diagrams, and typography
- Produce high-quality lighting, rendering, and final compositing
Deliverable
- 60–120 second animated explainer video
- High-resolution export (4K preferred)
- Review checkpoints during production
Required skills
- 3D animation for technical or industrial products
- 3D modeling and scene development
- Motion graphics and information visualization
- Cinematic camera animation and storytelling
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts visually
Preferred software experience
- Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, Houdini, Unreal Engine, or similar.
- Experience with After Effects and modern render engines (Octane, Redshift, Arnold) is a plus.
