About A Tiger Cub:
A Tiger Cub is a mission-driven parenting and storytelling brand helping families explore emotions, identity, and culture. We’re building an animated series that brings these themes to life through short, heartfelt episodes.
Role Overview:
We’re seeking a passionate 2D Animator to help continue our animated series. You’ll bring voiceover-backed scripts to life with expressive animation and collaborate with a small creative team. Each episode runs 10-30 seconds with a focus on emotional storytelling and cultural resonance.
Responsibilities:
• Animate short hand-drawn 2D episodes
• Collaborate on storyboards, pacing, and tone
• Incorporate feedback and iterate
• Optional: contribute to visual development or character design
Qualifications:
• Experience with Toonboom Harmony
• Experience with doing animatics
• Strong portfolio with character-based or emotionally rich animation
• Good communication and responsiveness
• Interest in themes like emotional growth, parenting, or cultural identity
Compensation:
Volunteer initially, with strong potential for long-term paid collaboration or equity as the brand scales.
