2026 Summer Intern: Network Developer

At a Glance • You're a motivated rising senior student with a 3.0 GPA or higher seeking a degree in one of the following areas listed below from an accredited college or university: • Computer Science • Computer Information • Cyber Security • Electrical Computer Engineering • This is a full-time, 10-week program designed to give you real-world experience working within the telecommunications industry in your field of choice. • Internship program runs from May 27 through July 31, 2026. • In addition to the role-based projects you'll work on, you'll also participate in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and have access to a mentor. The Spectrum Internship Experience You'll join one of our departments for the summer, where you'll contribute to meaningful projects that give you insight into what it's like to work at a leading connectivity company. You'll have access to: • Opportunities to gain new skills and elevate the ones you already have, all in a robust and forward-thinking business setting. • Build connections with our team members and senior leaders who can help you better understand what our business looks like and what it's like to work here. • Receive mentorship from a member of our team, who can provide one-on-one advice to help you reach your professional goals. What you can expect in this role As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams - your respective department and your intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 27th, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects, and final presentations. Internship responsibilities may include • Our team focuses on multiple lanes of automation that support a wide range of services. • We streamline and replace manual tasks by building tailored automation solutions using tools and technologies such as Python, JavaScript, HTML, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, JSON, FastAPI, Flask, and Git. • A key part of our work involves developing and enhancing tools that automatically activate and test network devices, customized to each customer's unique circuit ID path. Required qualifications • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University graduating with a bachelor's degree between December 2026 - May 2027 • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship Preferred qualifications • Ability to work in a team environment • Oral and written skills • Organizational skills • Problem solving abilities • Proficient in Software including Adobe, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word #LI-WP1 GGN100 2025-60904 2025 Here, our employees don't just have jobs, they're building careers.
