About the position

The 2025 Summer Intern, Communications Specialist position at ICF Next is a full-time, remote internship designed for students pursuing a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field. This 10-week program offers hands-on experience in government communications, focusing on strategic communications, content creation, writing, media relations, and client strategy. Interns will rotate between multidisciplinary teams to support various projects and develop their business acumen.

Responsibilities
• Support the development and implementation of strategic communications plans and campaigns.

• Contribute to the creation of marketing and communications materials such as factsheets, infographics, social media content, reports, and presentations.
,
• Write and edit compelling written content for internal and external audiences.
,
• Draft and edit press releases and talking points and monitor media coverage.
,
• Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels.
,
• Collaborate with team members on client strategy.
,
• Rotate between multidisciplinary teams to support projects, gain exposure, and develop business acumen.

Requirements
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field with an anticipated graduation of August 2025 or later.
