Senior Staff Accountant (Remote)
Role:

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the Accounting Manager and lead the financial close for multiple departments. You will supervise a Staff Accountant and oversee the revenue recognition process. You will work closely with the finance team. This role will have a critical impact on the organization's growth!!
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Accounting Manager with day to day accounting, cash management, payment processing, journal entries, general ledger, month end close, trail balances and financial statement preparation
• Perform account reconciliations as well as analysis for various general ledgers
• Perform month-end accruals, intercompany accounting, etc.
• Assist in the preparation and review of accounts receivables, collections, billings, etc.
• Work within Excel and ERP systems to create customize reports
• Work cross functionally with different division leaders to understand accounting impacts
• Ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Large public accounting or Big 4 experience highly preferred
• CPA is a plus
• Ability to work within tight time frames
• Experience with general ledger systems is required
• Strong communication skills are imperative (written and verbal)
