You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.71 per hour + non-contractual, hourly sales commission. At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. This is a part-time, permanent position, and you will be contracted to work between 16 - 20 hours per week. Key activities: Approaching customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on our products. Serving customers at the till - processing sales transactions. Recommending and promoting complementary products with each sale. Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPIs. Continuous stock replenishment to ensure the shelves are always full. Processing stock deliveries in a timely manner. Ensuring that the shop floor is always kept clean & tidy, to a high standard. Any additional ad hoc duties, as required. Personal characteristics: A positive, can-do attitude. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Willingness to approach and serve all customers. The drive to exceed monthly performance targets. Methodical approach to completing daily tasks. High levels of attention to detail. The ability to work both individually and as part of a diverse team. The commitment to work between 16 - 20 hours per week and the flexibility to work any day (Monday - Sunday).
