What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Handle inbound and outbound calls related to medical prior authorizations
Utilize computer skills for accurate data entry and documentation
Gather and review patient billing and medical information for authorizations
Analyze complex problems and provide expert solutions to ensure patient coverage
Collaborate with team members and other departments to enhance service delivery
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 1 year of previous medical benefits experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to multi-task and effectively use dual monitors
Positive work attitude and willingness to assist colleagues
Experience in a medical call center is a plus but not required
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience in a medical call center environment
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and procedures
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Capability to work independently as well as part of a team
