Job Description The Staff Accountant, Expense plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely expense reporting across Ensora Health’s portfolio of brands. This role supports month‑end close, general ledger activities, and financial analysis while partnering closely with internal stakeholders to ensure expenses are recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment. What You’ll Do Own monthly expense recognition for assigned brand(s), including proper classification, accruals, and deferrals Ensure expenses are recorded in the appropriate accounting period in compliance with U.S. GAAP Record fixed asset capitalization, depreciation, and amortization of intangible assets Balance and reconcile intercompany accounts on a monthly basis Prepare and post general ledger journal entries with clear and accurate supporting documentation Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, including prepaids, accrued expenses, accounts payable, credit cards, intercompany, fixed assets, and intangibles Analyze period‑over‑period expense variances and provide clear, logical explanations for fluctuations Maintain accurate financial records and provide detailed support for ad hoc analysis and reporting Support the annual audit process by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries Participate in special projects and provide general accounting support as the business evolves Perform other related duties as assigned to support team and company objectives What You Bring Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or a related field Understanding of U.S. GAAP and core accounting principles SaaS industry experience preferred Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas Working knowledge of Workday or similar accounting systems Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and follow tasks through to resolution Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain financial information to a variety of audiences Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive insights and decision‑making Proven ability to work effectively with both executives and peers Highly organized with strong attention to detail Desire to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative, and success‑driven environment Additional Information While we've outlined some key qualities we typically seek, it's essential to remember that there might be additional unique strengths and talents you possess that would make you an exceptional match for us, even if they're not explicitly mentioned.
