Requirements:
Ā High School Diploma / GED required.
Ā Previous Experience working with children.
Ā Paraprofessional Certificate
Ā Associate degree preferred.
Job Details:
Ā Start & End Date: 2024 -2025 New School Year
Ā Hours: Full Time
Ā Caseload Details: K-12 Available, more details can be discussed during an interview.
Responsibilities:
Ā Paraprofessionals assist the teacher (s) in various Special Education programs/ classrooms with Special Education Students.
Ā Duties include small group instruction, one-on-one instruction, preparing materials for a lesson, correcting papers, teaming, collaboration between regular and special education staff and assisting students with individual learning and health needs.
Ā Some responsibilities may include providing medical or health services such as catheterization, diapering, toileting, feeding, and tube feeding. They also assist students with other activities involving self-care, lift, and transfer in and out of wheelchair and should be physically strong enough to assist with restraint from student.
