1099 Venture Partner – Deal Originator (Private Equity Roll-Ups)

• About Us: * We are a values-driven private equity firm focused on roll-up acquisitions in fragmented, mid-market service sectors - including MEP trades, roofing, restoration, dental, cybersecurity, water treatment, and more. Unlike fund-based models, we operate deal-by-deal: acquiring strategic company stacks (typically 4–7 targets), consolidating them into platforms, and exiting via strategic sale within 18–24 months. We’re based in Austin, TX, with global partners. The Role: We’re seeking entrepreneurial 1099 Venture Partners to source and qualify acquisition targets that align with our roll-up model. This is an opportunity to earn private equity-level payouts by directly shaping high-value exit strategies. What You'll Do: -Source businesses through your network, referrals, and cold outreach -Engage directly with business owners to assess interest and gather preliminary financials -Validate deals for revenue, EBITDA ($1M–$3M), owner alignment, and fit for our buy-box -Help build roll-up stacks of 4–7 aligned companies -Collaborate with partners through LOI, diligence, and SPV formation What We're Not Looking For: -Retainer-based lead generators -Passive deal introducers who don’t engage sellers or validate opportunities -Candidates uncomfortable with performance-based, long-term payouts tied to exits Compensation: -Milestone payout at successful deal signing -Upward Profit participation upon exit/sale of the consolidated platform -Top producers (who build full stacks) may exceed $1M+ in total payout • NOTE: No salary or retainer.
