1099 Licensed Medicare Insurance Agent (Remote)

About the Role As a Remote Medicare Insurance Agent with Peak Plans LLC, you’ll guide clients through their Medicare options, helping them find plans that best suit their needs. You’ll handle inbound calls, follow up with interested prospects, and grow your personal book of business with the support of a highly experienced leadership team. Key Responsibilities • Engage with inbound callers seeking Medicare coverage and guide them through product options. • Conduct needs-based consultations and recommend appropriate plans, including Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement policies. • Accurately document client interactions and ensure compliance with all regulations. • Build strong relationships with clients and manage renewals during subsequent Annual Enrollment Periods (AEPs). Requirements • 1 year experience selling MAPD and Medicare Supplement plans. • At least 1 year of tele-sales or call center experience. • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. • Exceptional communication, active listening, and closing skills. • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. • Familiarity with CRM systems and basic computer proficiency. • Must have your own computer, headset, Ethernet connection, and webcam. Licensure and Certifications • Active Resident Health Insurance License required. • Completion of 2026 AHIP certification (certificate may be requested during the interview process). • 15+ non-resident state licenses preferred. • Understanding of contracting restrictions and ability to provide release documentation if applicable.
