1099 IT & Compliance Contractor – Remote / Small Business Projects

Job Description: Ninth Cloud Solutions is seeking experienced IT and compliance professionals to join our network of 1099 contractors. We provide IT support, cloud administration, and compliance services (SOC 2, PCI DSS, FFIEC, Vanta automation) to small businesses, startups, and financial institutions. As a contractor, you’ll help us deliver high-quality services to our clients on a flexible, project-by-project basis. Responsibilities: • Provide remote IT support (desktop, network, email systems, cloud solutions) • Assist with cloud administration (AWS, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) • Support cybersecurity and compliance projects (SOC 2, PCI, FFIEC) • Conduct risk assessments, policy implementation, and audit preparation • Collaborate with other contractors and project managers to meet deadlines • Communicate clearly with clients and the internal team Qualifications: • Proven experience in IT support, cloud administration, or cybersecurity/compliance • Knowledge of SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, FFIEC, or related compliance frameworks • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results • Strong communication skills • Reliable internet connection and remote work setup • Flexible availability for client projects (typically 5–20 hours/week) Why Work With Us: • Flexible remote work — pick projects that fit your schedule • Opportunity to work on diverse IT and compliance projects • Competitive pay with potential for long-term contract work • Join a growing network of professionals supporting small businesses How to Apply: Submit your resume, LinkedIn profile, or portfolio.
