#10122: Pharmacy Technician / Prior Authorizations / Work from Home (NYS Residency Required!)
We have partnered with a prestigious health insurance company that is looking for experienced Pharmacy Prior Authorization Technicians to join their team. This is a remote opportunity for candidates within Buffalo, Rochester... Syracuse, and Utica areas!
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Ā Conducting medication prior authorizations
Ā Researching and reviewing prescription and medical benefit coverage
Ā Entering requests into the computer system
Ā Communicating with pharmacists, providers, and members
Ā Providing phone coverage for incoming calls
Ā Other related duties as assigned
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, with an 8-hour shift between 8:00AM-5:00PM. Occasional, rotating on-call weekend hours required.
Duration: Temp indefinite, requesting minimum commitment of 12 months.
Pay Rate: $19.25/HR plus excellent benefits available for our temporary employees
