Job Title: Structural Steel Sales/Project Estimator Location: FULLY REMOTE Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year + Bonuses Job description: Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable Structural Steel Fabricator on their search for a talented and strong Sales/Estimator to focus on bringing in new work as well as compile estimates for the cost of work by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. As a Structural Steel Sales/Project Estimator, your main responsibility will be to compile estimates for the cost of work by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Included in this will be the estimation of labor, material, equipment, and time requirements in order to compute the overall cost and duration of the project. • This person MUST have experience with sales and MUST have strong contacts with General Contractors nationwide Job Title: Sales/Estimator (Structural Steel/Misc. Metals/Joist&Deck Fabrication) Project Types: Commercial/Industrial Key Responsibilities: • Review project plans, requirements, and specifications • Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and material pricing • Propose value engineering options to reduce project cost • Determine costs of labor, material, and equipment • Push the evolution of the construction documents as necessary • Prepare conceptual estimates • Meet and maintain bidding and work schedules • Submit requisitions for the purchase of materials • Compare competitive specialist and material • Customer interaction • Responsible for new sales leads and current sales leads Skills & Qualifications: • 5+ years Estimating projects for reputable steel fabricators • 5+ years in sales/maintaining a strong client contact log (General Contractors) • Fabsuite/Tekla EPM/Tekla Powerfab or Fabtrol experience highly desirable • Structural Steel Fabrication Experience • Knowledge of AISC standards Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. Tiello is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
